KT333 and higher multipliers
Hi,
How do I access higher multipliers on my Gigabyte GA-7VRXP (higher than 12.5) via the dip switches. I wish to overclock my XP2400. TIA Dan |

Errr...the multiplier on the XP2400 is already 15 if I'm not mistaken.

Set the multiplier to 8 with the dip switches. This should end up being 16x. See Multiplier Cross ref. in link below. And it wouldn't hurt to read everything there. -- Abit KT7-Raid (KT133) Tbred B core CPU @2400MHz (24x100FSB) http://mysite.verizon.net/res0exft/cpu.html |

How would I unlock this CPU because I know the KT333 can't unlock the multipliers automatically? The 2400+ is already unlocked. Set the multiplier to 12.5 and FSB to 100 and try and boot. Go from there. See link below. -- Abit KT7-Raid (KT133) Tbred B core CPU @2400MHz (24x100FSB) http://mysite.verizon.net/res0exft/cpu.html |
