PC Toys 80mm Tornado Case Fan
With a name like "TORNADO", what did you expect?
------------------------- Just another Democratic Slave NO more Corporate Government Patrick wrote in message . .. Hi again, just got a PC Toys Tornado Case fan and it is TOTALLY unusable due to noise levels. Is this normal for this fan or is the fan faulty, it litterally is so loud that it drowns out audio played at normal volumes on my computer. Anyone use this fan? It did cool real good but was far to noisey. Patrick |

Was the CFM figures that were really good, BUT I have just hooked it up to
my Antec PSU fan output which drops the fan speeds depending on temperature and it is now running at just 2860 rpm and it is still loader than my Antec case fans,. Anyone got a recommendation for a case fan that moves a lot of air and is still quiet?? The fan is for the side panel and will blow onto the cpu and northbridge. Patrick |

Go to this link http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/del80ffb08123.html and click on 'hear this fan now' right below the picture of the fan. That is what an 80 CFM 80mm fan sounds like. Your's should sound like that, maybe a little louder. Doug |

If not, put a speed control on it. -- Abit KT7-Raid (KT133) Tbred B core CPU @2400MHz (24x100FSB) http://mysite.verizon.net/res0exft/cpu.html |
