Default Anyone seen one of these?

Has anyone ever seen or used anything like this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=3420304495
Would this be any better than a stndard air cooled HSF?
Is it even suitable for cooling a processor?

Sorry if I sound dumb, but ive never seen anything like this before!

Thanks in advance,
Will

Peltiers are out of fashion these days as far as I can tell. Googling for
peltier & CPU will give you all the information you need.

....was the first link it threw up for me, seems as good a place to start
as any.

I'd never have used one in a box I cared for... the idea of condensation
forming around my CPU doesn't thrill me! But then I'm amazed that people
are prepared to water cool their hardware these days. Guess I'm just an
old conservative at heart :-)

Thanks for your help. I was thinking that it looked the ideal solution for a
quiet PC. Having read that and other stuff now...maybe not!
