Opinion required

I need an opinion. I am currently in the process of speccing an (almost)-entirely new machine:
Asus A7N8X
GeForce FX 5200 (64mb RAM)
1 gig DDR (PC3200)
I have drives already and a case on the way.

What I would like is an honest opinion: should I just buy a Barton 2800+ (which I can afford right
now) or should I save up to get the Barton 3200+? What is the performance difference besides a PR
number? Are there any issues with RAM/AGP etc. etc. I should be concerned about?

All Barton cores are the same. Get a 2500+ (default 11 multiplier). Set
the fsb to 200Mhz instead of the default 166 and you have a 3200+.
