Default Maximum hard drive size?

it will. and you will gain a great performance boost if you purchase a fast
5400 rpm drive (or a 7200rpm dirve but they are pricey and perhaps over the
top give the age of this laptop). shop www.newegg.com for great prices on
laptop drives. you will probably find that a 60gb 5400rpm drive is the best
bang for the buck. $85 delivered for a 60gb western digital that is whisper
quiet...

I have a Dell C600, P3 1GHz laptop. It currently has a 20GB and i was
wondering if it will support a 40 or even better, 80GB hard drive.

Appreciate any help

Uh, joe?

Check your system clock/calendar... It appears to be off by about one day.

See ya!
