k3B and Multisession discs

k3B setup lists the features of cdrdao as 'multisession, overburn,
suidroot'

but if i try to burn multisession using cdrdao, it says:
"ERROR: This driver doe snot support multisession discs"
using cdrecord, it says:
"Cdrecord returned an unknown error!(Code 255)"

how do you guys burn multisession discs?
