Hello,

Selecting weapons via text/menu's in shooters is kinda getting old.

The following idea could be interesting and fun and more immersive:

Make some armories in 3D where there are weapons.

An armory for each kind of weapons for example:

Sniper weapons, Assault Weapons, Pistols, Granades, Mines, Body Armor, etc.

Have people have a "carry limit or so".

Then can simply carry up to a certain load.

The more the carry the slower they are.

But this allows people to select what they want... and not some
predetermined configuration.

The fun part and immersive part is that everybody needs to walk to an armory
and equipt themselfes.

There could be a computer controlled person which refills the armory with
new weapons

Weapons which remain on the battlefield slow disappear from the battlefield
or so as usual.

I think it would be fun and more immersive to see other players in
multiplayer equiped themselfes as well

It adds a certain part of realism I think... and it's more or less a
punishment as well... when you die you have to re-equiped yourself so you
better not die too fast ! That's good.

Also make it possible for people to have really strong body armor... that
might get damaged at certain places where bullits can go through...

Dieing too fast is not so much fun

Some more ideas:

It could be a mobile armory.

Also each game should have a firing/practing range, where weapons can be
tested.

Like big bulls-eye or black-human-thingies to shoot at...

So one can test the accuracy of each weapon at different ranges... and test
themselfes too

Experimental idea:

Have players return collected weapons from the battlefield to the armory.

If a team does not do that they could run out of weapons

Not sure if that would be fun or not...

Lol knifes only... maybe even hands only !

Yeah or players could give each other weapons if they have extra's or maybe
just their ones if they dont wanna fight or are damaged or whatever.

And other players could request weapons with voice messages like:

"Give me a weapon ?!"

"I need a weapon ?!"

"Give me a piece !"

The other dude automatically says when he gives a weapon:

"Here you go"

"Use it well !"

"Teach those ****ers a lesson"

"Have fun with it"

"Be carefull, that's dangerous"

"You sure you know you can handle it ?" LOL.

"Take this pistol, it's better than nothing"

"Here you go"

Or they can deny it:

"Sorry Pal, I need mine"

"Sorry Pal, I got no spares"

"Sorry Pal, Get your own this one is mine"

"For ****s sake men where is your weapon ?"

"**** you man, I need man !"

"Go **** yourself, this one is my baby ! "

"Nobody touches my gun ! "

"Nobody touches my baby ! " =D

Yeah some more voice messages:

For example Rambo-player is on the battlefield.

Newby has a rocket launcher and doesn't know what to do with it.

Rambo player says to newby:

"Gimme me that !"

If newby is smart. newby throws rocket launcher to rambo.

Rambo players takes down tank or heli and saves the day.

Now newby knows what to do next time hopefully
