Hard Drives - External Enclosure
I have an old Deskstar and would like to buy an Enclosure for it
but i dont know which enclosure to get (is it possible to go wrong) model IC35L080AVVA07-0 82.3gb thanks for any help, i dont wont to waste my money |

enclosures are all about the same...i would use most any brand that come with a cooler.

FWIW it's what I'm currently using for drive imaging w/ Acronis TrueImage. I've also used the Vantec enclosures, and while they work fine, they have those da_n small screws, and they can be a PITA to deal with. Jeff |

I have had one for about 3yrs and tried to replace the old 80g with a 300g and found that the enclosure would not support large drives. It is a USB2 type. I suspect that all enclosures made now do have large drive support. Ed |
