Hi there,
Just bought the other day a Conner HD model CFS1275A with 1.259 MBytes
capacity. I connected it to my 486DX2 system and tried within it's
AMIBIOS setups to make it active. But everything was vain...
The autodetection couldn't see it. Even if I manually put in the
Cyl, Hds, Sectors numbers nothing good happened.
I put it as a slave with a 205 Western Digital as a master and there
was two error messages : Hardware failure, or disk error.
I also installed an E-IDE controller, I thought maybe the IDE I had
was an old type, but nothing happened.
Trying to use FDISK on it to do partitioning and then to format it,
the FDISK some times was seeing a 211 drive, some others a 504 drive
and other times nothing at all and it crashed the whole system...
So, now I've got a 1 Gbyte hard disk and don't know how to make it
work with the system. From the shop I bought it they gave me a utility
named EZ (supposed to customize or trick the BIOS about the 1 Gig drive)
but it also couldn't do anything good.
If there's anyone who can help, please e-mail me.

You're much more likely to find one on ebay or google.
