Default US vs UK pricing

Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB U133 16MB
mfr#: WD5000AAKB

This drive on NewEgg versus the same drive on DABS

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136111
http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...000,416 10000

It's $119.99 in the US, and £71.08 in the UK.

£71 = $149. $119 = £59.

So, in the UK I'm paying £0.14 per GB, or $0.30, but in the US I'm
paying £0.12 per GB, or $0.24

I don't know if that scales to really big storage, but considering
many companies in the UK have over 100 TB of storage it'd wind me up
to have to pay extra for the exact same thing.

The extra pays for all those drives that disappear
under the waves in that soggy little island.
