HP 5610 all-in-one printer
I had to pull apart my 5610 and a little plastic strip came out and I
don't know where it goes.. Now copy and scan don't work and I suspect it's this missing strip. Anyone have a working 5610 or a detailed repair manual and can tell me where this strip goes? It is 9" by 1/2" by 0.035" thick with a nub sticking out along one edge with the label: PLATE-CALIBRATION JB61-00305A HIPS #2-3 I'd sure appreciate help. Thanks, Ken Rogers

Don't bother to follow up on this. Solved by CSM1!

My guess would be the strip used to set the zero position of the scanner. However, that guess is based on what I know of a PSC 2110 and an Officejet 6110. I don't know anything about your 5610, or I would have responded. TJ
