Default Leaking Caps

Soltek Socket A SL-75FRN-2 has been flakey on and off. Pulled it apart
to dust, and to my dismay, see 2 leaking and 4 more bulged capacitors.

Need a good replacement, with SATA hd capability.

Recommendations welcome.

Really hate to give this board up, but ain't wanting to spend lots of
bucks to get it fixed, and with 10 thumbs, no way I'd attempt it.

Thanks.

Recently spent a night replacing faulty mobos in POS tills due to bad caps -
took 7 hours to do 11 mobos. Nearly killed me (having a day job as well).
Some were bulgy, some rusty on top, some OK. Strangely, all on the same
mobo were in the same state, no mixtures.

Did the caps have "DS" on the side of them? Just wondering if you have some
kind of comeback on the manufacturer / supplier.

There was a run of bad caps from Taiwan. Someone stole a cap formula from
another company that was incomplete.

Damn them for my backache, but bless them for my £20 per hour fixing it.

The mobos, not my back...

Epox was one of the guilty ones.

Check out Gary Headlee for reasonable MoBo repairs.
He's been replacing bad caps since they were invented.
