Where have Aria disappeared to?

Just under week ago, I placed an order with them that is out of stock,
so yesterday i sent a nice polite email asking if they knew a delivery
date yet, and have got no reply.

So i sent them another email today, but this time i also mentioned i'm
about to place an order for several hundred quid's worth of kit (which i
am as i'm building a system for someone) and that i would hope the lack
of correspondence isn't something to expect in future if i have a
problem with kit i buy.

I still have had no reply ...

OK, so it may only be a cheap item that's out of stock, and i may not be
their biggest spending customer (although over time i've spent more than
your average punter no doubt) but i'd like to think that someone at Aria
is receiving my emails and is just plain busy rather than ignoring me?

ho hum.

If your first email was only yesterday, I wouldn't always expect a reply
within 24 hours (although it'd be nice). Give them a ring if it's urgent,
otherwise I'd give it another couple of days, just incase they're busy, or
under-staffed.

Nearly 2 weeks since i asked them a pre-sales question. No response
whatsoever.
After a week of waiting I went ahead with the online order anyway, but its
still disappointing
that i didn't get a response.
Rob - you need to give them all a kick up the arse.

Hmmm .... 24 hours is quite long enough for any business to reply in my
opinion, but as the matter isn't urgent, i'm not overly concerned.
Usually, Aria have responded fast and 'hard', resolving matters to my
complete satisfaction (very generously so on more than one occasion) but
i just have a feeling ....

Anyway, i've just, ironically, received confirmation my order is on it's
way ....

I sent Scan a pre-sales enquiry about 3 months ago, then a second copy of
the email a few weeks after that. I've still had no reply. It's unsurprising
that I ordered elsewhere (not that I'm expecting a reply now)

Just to reassure you, it is a case of being extremely busy and understaffed.
We do not make a point of ignoring e-mails, there is just a backlog at the
moment. Apologies for a slower then normal service. The situation is
expected to improve rapidly.

Perhaps a small note on the website would help? Not everyone read newsgroup
and know what's going on with Aria.

I hope it does improve soon. After waiting over a month for my goods, and
receiving no answers to my emails, my parts eventually came yesterday.
Hurray, I thought. No, hang on, a stick of memory is missing.
Today I spent more than an hour attempting to get through to "Customer
Services" on the telephone with no success whatsoever.
I eventually faxed a letter to "Customer Services" explaining the missing
part. I doubt I'll get a reply to that either.

So far, so very poor. (I like their website, though)
