DABS do they pack on weekends?

I order a new Sony Vaio TR1MP from dabs on saturday. 4 were in stock. After
making my order, only 3 were in stock. Since saturday though, my order is
"Awaiting packing". Do they pack and send out stuff on weekends, or does
this mean it isnt in stock?

If anyone works at dabs, and could find out more. please check using the

Ermmm.. it means, oddly enough, that your order is waiting to be
packed. I suspect if it was out of stock they'd have a hard time
packing it.

It pretty obviously means that they had 4, one was allocated to you,
so that
leaves 3, and then it's awaiting packing because there's no one there
at a
weekend to pack it.

I don't know ANY online retailer that sends stuff out at weekends.

Dabs do ocassionaly pack on the weekends if they get majorly behind IIRC. So
it will probably go out tomorrow. Nice choice in laptop btw, I have a srx41
and an upgrade to a tr1 is very tempting.

Crucial definitely do - I've placed an order Sunday AM and had it
arrive on Monday.

I've a feeling DABS have in the past too, but maybe only during busy
periods?

I thought that is what it meant, but with the vaio tr1 shortage im getting a
little paranoid.
