Uninstall Dual Boot 98/W2K

I can understand that the hard way is to put back 98 booting, get there
and uninstall each individually, and then go back to single boot, like I have
done now and do the housekeeping.

Win2k and Win98 do not share a registry. And since you got the dual
boot option when installing Win2k, I assume you did not do an
"upgrade" install.

Therefore, none of the Win98 apps need to be uninstalled. Just
delete the directories that the applications reside in. Be careful,
though, as while Win2k and Win98 do not share the same directory for
the OS nor do they share a registry, they *do* share a "Program Files"
directory.

So when deleting your application directories, make sure you don't
inadvertently delete any of your Win2k apps. Since they're probably
all in the same location, it might be hard to see which is which.

If you want the applications to be installed in Win2k, just re-install
them into the same directories again, and forget about it.
Otherwise, delete the directory.
