Wide format printer.
My daughter prints a monthly newsletter using MS publisher on 13"x 17"
tabloid paperwith an HP 9600 printer. Said printer has about had it and we are looking to buy a new one. We would like something other than the HP 9000 series and would be willing to go to 400 or 500 dollars if necessary. I have heard good things about the Canon 9000,however, it and the i9900 are primarily listed as photo printers. My question is: Could you use one of these printers with the MS publisher program toprint a newsletter? I would think so but want to confirm this. Also Does anyone knowof a relatively inexpensive printer other than the HP that would be suitable for thiskind of job. Thanks in advance.******************************Dave |

I have heard good things about the Canon 9000,however, it and the i9900 While the Canon I9900 was an editors choice with PCMag it has now been replaced with the improved Canon Pro9000. It has all of the features of the I9900 plus improved ink longevity, maybe a little faster and it has dual paper trays. It will provide excellent photo quality and very good print quality and is faster than most of the other printers. That would be the best choice. are primarily listed as photo printers. My question is: Could you use one of these printers with the MS publisher program toprint a newsletter?
