g200 bios update
I'm trying to update the bios on this card, but I'm having no luck. I went
to the Matrox support site and got the unified driver set (setup257.exe) I unpacked it, read the readme file, and and ran pbioswin. I get two choices, 'create emergency disk' and 'update the matrox graphic bios'. I pick the update option, and after a second, I get an error message 'no binary file found'. There are a dozen or so *.BIN files that came with the download, but there is never a chance to pick one. Any ideas? Win98 SE |

It worked, thanks. I had to get the 1999 bios, then upgrade to 2000, then
upgrade...etc, etc, but it worked. "Markku V." wrote in message m... "Barb Duzan" wrote in message ... I'm trying to update the bios on this card, but I'm having no luck. The solution was to run earlier BIOS-update (version 255) first and after that run the latest (257). You could try this trick. Markku Virtanen |
