just installed a mobo but

No beep at all , and what if i dont have a AGP card iam using a pci
slot for the video. my mobo is a pc chips m927lr socket 423 ,,its old
but new.

ram i have a 512mb ddr and 384 total in sdr
p4 for cpu..
internal speaker connected
how do you check the FSB speed settings..what is the FSB

well i know something is wrong if i cant get the bios... so i would be
able to get the bios with the card in a pci slot and with the video
card not installed on motherboard installed meaning the video card
installation cd, it would just pick up the card and bios screen ..

Pick DDR or SDR. Not both at once. It won't work.

This is not exactly the same model number, but visually should
be pretty close. The motherboard has two DDR slots and two SDRAM
slots, and as Paul says, you should not use the DDR slots and
the SDRAM slots at the same time. Only install one kind of
RAM. Installing both kinds can cause damage on some motherboards
like this one.

The Northbridge chip on the board, is P4M266, with built-in graphics.
To test the motherboard, you should be able to plug the monitor into
the VGA on the back of the motherboard, and see the BIOS screen there.
Once you prove the motherboard is working, then install the 9250 in
a PCI slot. Try to get the motherboard working, without the PCI
video card plugged in. Use the VGA connector on the back.
