Default Sound card and volume control, Presario 6450nx

Hello everyone!

I have the Presario 6450 nx!

I would like to know if the soundcard is a full Duplex one?

I`m also using Windows Xp home edition and when I click on control panel,
then adjust system volume, then volume control then on advance, the Bass and
Treble settings ars greyed out!
How can I fix this problem?
That`s because I want to record live stream audio from internet but the base
setting is too low! Where can I adjust such setting?

Thanks

Claude
