Default Reduced Sidebanding supported?

Hello,

i like buy a Powercolor X800GT PCI-E.

i will need a resolution of 1920X1200 at the DVI port, which is only
support through reduced side banding.

Is this a driver related feature or is the support hardware related?

There are no infos on the Powercolor HP on this issue

Thanks

The feature is called reduced-blanking. Sideband is an entirely different
animal related to AGP interfaces. :-)

Even my relatively old 9800Pro can do reduced blanking, so it's safe to say
the X800GT can do it, too. Enable it by checking "reduce DVI frequency for
high-resolution displays" in the ATi driver control panel.
