DVD Rom drive that reads DVD-R, -RW, +R, +RW
I'm wondering if anyone is aware of a DVD ROM (not a burner) drive that can
read all four of the DVD disc formats? All of the drive reviews I've read so far only mention -R & -RW, but no mention of +R & +RW. If anything I need a drive that can read the +R & +RW since that's what we use at work to backup data, etc. Thanks, Harry -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

This drive has been able to read all 4 of the formats you mention without issue and it's a very quiet drive and not at all expensive. $35 at newegg.com. I did try the LG drive someone else mentioned and it worked as well but was far more noisy than the Samsung. |
