Is there really a problem, or are they being super-careful, or is this a bug in windows 7.

As mentioned when the drives are plugged in and were assigned a drive letter, do the properties of the drive show it's optimized for quick disconnect or better performance? |

I get that message when plugging in a FAT32 USB drive that was last written to by
linux. Presumably linux did not unmount the drive to Window's pedantic ideals. |
