Default Email mining, searching, archiving & auditing

I'm working on a possible web-based solution to email mining,
searching, archiving & auditing.

I'm soliciting input from this group to find out whether there is a
need for such a solution for individuals and SMEs.

The solution would incorporate some remote fetching (via IMAP/POP) or
Outlook fetching (via an Outlook toolbar) that sends the emails
securely to our servers for archiving.

A web-based app woul allow mining, searching & auditing.
Cheers,
Terence

Not sure what you are asking but it kinda smells like spam.
Can you explain?

I'm asking for input if individuals and SMEs have a need for email
searching, archiving and auditing.

Enterprise companies do that now using say KVS, etc. because they need
to due to compliance, company policy, etc.

In a similar way, if let's say user X has 5 email accounts, would he
have a need for searching them from one place and getting them all
archived in one place in a hosted solution fashion?

Terence

P.S. - Why would my email be spam? I don't even have a link to a
website or any product link or anything! I hate spam myself. I am
just soliciting input from the community.

Ah, now I understand what you are asking. As soon as you
wrote mining my knee-jerk reaction took over.

We use Meridio at work. How large corporations use email
is changing in today's litigious environment.
