CDR disk created with Nero Express 6 won't work in other dirve.

It wont work in my 40X drive, just the drive it was
created in LiteOn 24X10X40.
Is this normal?
I thought it should work in any CD drive.

Did you close the session? If not, it will read only in a writer.

Otherwise, there are many possibilities. If you can provide just a
fraction of the information needed, they might be winnowed down to a
reasonable collection. For example: is it an audio or a data disc? does
it read in other players?

I'm sure those are secrets, but we won't tell.

It is possible the CD player had a fault (it certaintly appear to have one
now, (since I tried to clean the lens, which looks a bit dull after a clean
with white spirit and cotton wool)).

I opened it up and watched operation but it only seemed to make a few
feeble attempts at spinning ?

Its a data disk via nero express 6, I hit all the close finalisse options
I could find.
