Default Get better sound with nForce2 integrated APU 'soundstorm'

Just turn off EAX. Run the sound in 'Hardware 3D' mode. I have found that I
get better sound (equiv to an Audigy [which I have] with EAX3 on!!) AND
smoother gameplay...
I have found this to be the case in the following games:
Unreal Tournament 2003
Vietcong
Neverwinter Nights
Battlefield 1942

....I was one that always thought that nothing can beat the Audigy series
(EAX3) but when I got my Abit NF7-S motherboard I thought I should give the
onboard sound a try before putting in my Audigy. Well I was happy with the
performance in EAX mode in all games except Neverwinter Nights where the
sound started to get choppy after 15 mins or so. I tried to find out which
one was to blame Neverwinter Nights or Nvidia but all I found was others who
had the same problem. So I tried to run it in Hardware 3D mode and it not
only worked but the 3D sound quality was better AND the game ran faster.
Since then I've tried it in the 3 other games listed with the same effect -
Better sound, less overhead (faster game). Hopefully others can add to this
list of games that run better without using EAX.
