Default Active Web Cam software

Does anyone know how to get an iGuard IP-230 camera to work with the Active
Web Cam software?

The software has a drop down list of a number of manufacturer's cameras, but
the iGuard is not on the list. So I've just been trying the others
hoping that the same settings will work, but no joy. The camera will
occasionally return an error to the software's request, so I know it's
talking.
And the camera does work OK with the iGuard software--but it's terrible.

So far PY Software, the makers of Active WebCam, aren't responding to my
request for info.

Thanks all.

T.O.
