Default How many pins in my RAM?

Hello,

I want to upgrade the RAM in my Compaq Prosignia 320 (BI440ZX motherboard).

I know it takes DIMM SDRAM modules (PC66/PC100), but I have seen 100 and 168
pin modules advertised.

Does anyone know how many pins are used for MY memory modules?

Thanks.

Bern

You don't want the 168, that is for the new DDR memory modules, which
won't work in your system.

(Asking on father's (Bernard Jelley) behalf...)

We have been hunting around on the net for PC100 RAM for this PC.

Would we be safe in assuming *any* 168 pin 64Mb PC100 DIMM/SDRAM modules
would work, or are there indeed differences between specs of said modules?

Thanks,

Neil

any memory should be good - crucial.com - you may wish to check whether the
latency is CL2 or CL3 - check mobo spec

What a site!

We have ordered an upgrade from Crucial.

Many thanks.

Neil
