sorry, and a 40GB hdd @ 5400, and a 80GB hdd @ 7200 :P

New install of XP should boot up faster than that even if you're booting from
the 4500 rpm drive. Leave the RAM to be configured by SPD. Look in the system
and application event viewer for any red X's. That 300 watt supply is right on
the edge of not being adequate because that system can draw 300 watts when the
Prescott is thumping. I know, I have one on an Intel mobo.

Cause gosh knows the CPU is gonna be clockin at full power during the boot up you ****ing MORON.

Shut up Diaper Boi, nobody wants you in this thread. You've been told this by
many.

Free cl00, Diaper Bitch, reaching critical stupid and having a lil kookplosion all over A26 does not
magically make you "many", it just makes you an idiot.

If nobody cared, why would they respond? ^_^

And uh...hrmmm...you respond more than ANYONE, obsesso.

BTW, speaking of lying, tell us all about how you're "transcoding" DVDs to fit on DVD-Rs again, that
was just a ****ing RIOT! `, D

You should know that most commercial DVDs are on a dual layer DVD.
That's twice the size of a normal DVD-R...

You should know that BenQ came out with the first dual layer DVD writer like 3 months ago, where the
**** have you been? I mean, come on, technology waits for no one, if you can't keep up take notes.

SPANK!

CloneDVD 2

high reduction rates (footage of more than two hours)

What does a transcoder do Poor Wittle Diaper Boi ? Does it
power your SOOPER XENON BEST COMPONENTS NEVER CRASHES Xp box
? Does it play MP3? XBox Games?

Make sure you snip all of this from your reply

HAH ! I've got your dance choreographed right down to the
last step.

Boy are you just makin yourself look like a ****ing MORON, if it's still in the same format, in this
case MPEG-2, then it's transcoding you ****ing MORON. If you're going from one format to another
like MPEG-2 to an MPEG-4 based codec like Xvid, then it's REENCODING. And the very fact that you
use CloneDVD at all...man oh man, what a ****ing GOOBER. That's like going around telling people
you're the **** cause you just got ONLINE...you know, with yer ****in WebTV box... *shakes head*

SPNAK !

Yes Diaper Boi we all know

You are better
Your computer is better
Everyone besides you is worthless

You are the big bad Diaper Boi

Oh and you and your mom have a Cock-Eye BTW

Poor Baby Fett, got smacked real hard again and couldn't formulate a counter argument. It's okay,
Butt-Plow, no one would ever expect someone of your intelligence to be using anything other than
ConeDVD. ^_^

My Prescott also warms from 50 into the 60's when it's thumping. The chipset

That's all that box does, video. I won't clutter it with a bunch of crap it

10 to 1 says your video encoding experience doesn't extend any farther than the default settings in
Auto-Gordian Knot.

One thing for certain is make sure the power supply is adequate with a Prescott
CPU. 380 watts min for a 2.8 and normal perhips.

Retardo here obviously hasn't given any thought in WHAT BRAND of power supply you should buy.

Shut up Diaper Boi, nobody wants you in this thread. You've been told this by
many.

Free cl00, Diaper Bitch, reaching critical stupid and having a lil kookplosion all over A26 does not
magically make you "many", it just makes you an idiot.

Nobody care what youSLAP

I know, but dual layer DVD disks still cost about 20 dollars each...

You can get em for around $14 including shipping:
http://www.meritline.com/dl-dvd-r-du...-verbatim.html

Still cheaper than actually buying the DVDs in most cases. ^_^

Personally I rip and encode everything into Xvid and then use mobile rack, removable 250GB HDs to
store all the stuff on. So like I have drives just for movies, for anime, for TV shows, etc, etc.
Most 7 season TV series, like DS9 for example take up around 65GBs worth of space so I can store
about 3 to 4 series on one HD. So then when I wanna watch something I just pop in the HD I want
into the entertainment system, boot it up, turn on the projector and speakers and VIOLA, ready to
watch.

My entertainment system is a SimpleMax Micro Slim Desktop Case with a Asus A7V8X-MX motherboard,
AthlonXP 2000 cpu, 1gig of Infineon memory, a Radeon 9000 all-in-wonder, an internal 250GB Maxtor HD
and a 3COM Ezpro 735 XGA projector.

Hatter,

ByteCoder suggested that you post some pics of the innards of that puter of
yours.
You answered with some excuse, valid or not, I don't care.

Hey look at that, we both don't care! ^_^

But what DOES intrigue me, why don't you post some nice pics on Backwater
of said puter ?
I really start to wonder about that big monster of yours !
I just wanna know if "yours" is bigger then" mine"...cuz I gots a big one !
Puter that is....

Oh bother, that would require me to like go and get the digital camera, and then I'm gonna have to
charge the lil *******, then I'd have to actually TAKE the pictures, then upload them to my system,
then convert them, then upload them to the server...*sigh*...I just can't be arsed at the
momemnt...hell I couldn't even be arsed to put up the pictures of the frelling keeristmas cookies up
on teh Flonk image server when Incantrix asked me to...and those have already been converted and
everything! o_O

Maybe on Friday I'll put up some pictures. Not of Hikaru Sen though, she's not finished yet (which
is actually the main reason why I've only taken a couple pics of the temprature controler). Cause,
the memory heat spreaders are copper, I haven't finished putting all the red wire sleeves on and
don't even get me started on the trouble I've had with Staples and their idiotic "static sticky
paper" (which doesn't work worth a **** btw).

It's not all about the hardware you know, it's also about the STYLE!

The other thing I need to finish is the keyboard. I got one of those ancient IBM keyboards, the
kind that have that really cool clickity sound and I'm working on repainting it and changing out the
all the LEDs so that it matches the case.
