ABIT BX6 UDMA33 running Maxtor DiamondMax Plus9 80Gb ATA133
Is that possible? Without a new controllercard?

Can the BIOS handle the 80G ?
Can the HDD be dumbed-down via software? some of the WD units have proprietary soft-switches you can set. Dunno about Maxtor.
