Default Profiles no longer working

Hey gents,
I'm not exactly sure when this started, but tonight I installed the 66.93
drivers and the profiles are no longer working. I switched to the 66.8? and
then 61.77 and it still won't work. I can set them, but they don't do
anything. Global settings do work, though. I uninstalled before each
installation and have even used Driver Cleaner3. For Doom 3, I tried
modifying the default profile and even adding a new one. Setting AA to 2xQ
in the Doom3 profile, for example, does nothing in the game. Setting the
Global driver settings does.
6800GT and XP Pro. Any ideas?

Gary
