New build .. recommend graphics card please
My present system is Intel Core2 Duo with a GTX 275 GT video card.
It's pretty good, but aging. So I'm starting to collect parts. What do you recommend for a high-end gaming video card? I'm looking at the 560s. Some have 2 fans. I suspect they are noisy. My 275 is whisper quiet always. johns |

I upgraded my old system with an AMD Athlon 2.2GHz dual core to a new motherboard, faster RAM, and an AMD Phenom II x4 3.2GHz and kept my same GT 240 and have no regrets. I can run either BioShock and all the Modern Warfare series on the highest settings and have no lag or deterioration of game play. I believe your GTX 275 is a few steps up from mine. -- SC Tom |

I just built a gaming machine I used a GTX570 and it is very good. -- |

Your card is listed on the high end video card list:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html .. . . unless you plan to go sli with 2 or 4 high end cards, I doubt a new card from that list will amaze you because of the performance boost. --g |

These cards should be under $200, and in some cases under $150. Yousuf Khan |
