Default Scam warning - apologies for OT

The following was posted on uk.adverts.computers and it may be of relevance
to people on this NG too (if you have not already sent payment or have a
chance still to stop cheques):-




These have previously traded on ebay with the following usernames:

davetfridge
ambritsales
goodsfuff

and has most recently been trading under the usernames below:

northern-goodstuff
mandgsales
mandgteam


Appears to have pulled off a mighty big scam - anyone who has been conned by
these people should contact Wakefield Police on 01924 293259 as soon as
possible. Don't leave it thinking you're going to get your tft or your
chips - YOU AINT!!!
