Any programs for recording short shound clips?
Looking for a program to record short sound tracks from CD or MP3s on my
hard drive to use as soundtrack to cd slide show I am putting together of family pictures. tks |

You can do both with CoolEdit. You can extract a portion of a track with EAC, but I do not recommend it; instead, extract full tracks with your choice of program. Before you spend any money on this, EAC and CDWAV both have recording tools
that will allow you to record in real time while the music is played, and provide the means to crop the files to length and in the case of EAC to edit the results.
