Default Problem with Primax Colorado USB 9600

hello.

I've got a problem with my scanner - Primax Colorado USB 9600. I don't have
the instalation cd but I have downloaded drivers from www.primax.nl -
official Primax web site. However, Windows is still unable to recognise this
device and marks it as an unknown device. When I try to install the driver
using the file pmxusb.inf, Windows informs me that this file doesn't contain
information about the device. I have no idea why I encounter so many
problems, maybe You could give me some advice? Maybe someone uses this
device and could send me appropriate files such as pmxusb.inf, pmxscan.sys
and pmxusb.cpl (Twain drivers work fine)? My OS is Windows 98 SE. Thanks for
any help.

greetings
