Default Now I've done it.

Now, my bios doesn't even see either of my Hard Drives. I have taken out
the PCI SATA Controller card and still no hard drives detected. I've checked
jumper settings, cables. It must be in the bios but where?
Below is yesterday's post.

I replace my Maxtor ATA 120GB Slave drive with a new Seagate
300GB ATA drive. Primary Slave also. For some reason my XP Home SP2 wanted
me to insert the Seagate disk. I did and it formatted to NTFS just fine. I
then loaded my music collection on it no problem.
Today, I turned on the same computer....BTW Intel D845EBG2 P4 1.8ghz. 512K
ram.
It came up with a BIOS warning "Pri Slave Hard Disk: S.M.A.R.T. Status BAD,
Backup and Replace
PressF4 to Resume.
I ran the software again and it said the drive was bad. So, I then put BACK
my old 120GB Maxtor and went to boot up. It now says my Pri Master is BAD
with the same message....It is a WD 40GB with system only.
What did the Seagate software do to my bios? I checked it and nothing looks
any different. However, it does show something about RAID on the boot up
that is so fast I can't get to it....
HELP!!

you can read the bios output by pressing [Pause] while booting.
