Default P4 Death Annoying to Case Manufacturers and Intel Autistic?

I wonder how the case manufacturers feel about all the work they did
to create Prescott-capable cases now that it looks like only an
interim product.

What was Intel thinking trying to sell high-heat & noisy CPUs?? Are they
that out of touch? And what's with all those gigantic motherboard designs?
Small form factor, low noise computers are the wave of the not so distant
future
(BTX "a day late and a dollar short"?).

How much could it cost to design a case anyways? Take some tin cans, recycle
them into the case pieces. Drill the holes where they need to be drilled.
Add some fluorescent lights in appropriate places. And off you go. :-)
