Default Update Bios

How do you determine what version Bios you have. I have a 3 month old
8300 and don't know if it is current. Thanks.

Go he

www.belarc.com

DL Belarc Advisor (free) and run it. Will tell you the bios version and much
more about your hardware and software installed.

Go into your BIOS Setup by pressing the F2 key at boot up. The
version number will be listed on the top of the screen.

If your BIOS isn't current then carefully read the instructions and flash
the latest version.

Sounds like a Dell? - When the computer first starts up it should show
you the BIOS version. Go to the Dell site and check out the latest
updates for your model.

On the Dell splashscreen at boot up, the BIOS revision will be listed.

The 8300 is currently at A06 and has been since mid-July.
