Google Groups Advanced Search doesn't work?
http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?
©2009 Google http://groups.google.com/a/chromium....vanced_search? ©2011 Google Appears to be dysfunctional at the moment, but maybe they are reworking some stuff. The page design is slightly different. I would question whether it is newer or just something I had not noticed before, but obviously the copyright date suggests it is newer. |

It's not even working when you append "&subject=usenet" (or any other value) onto the URL. Maybe they finally realized how terrible it was to destroy the original dejanews functionality of usenet searching and are working hard in an effort to restore the archive search to its proper status (I'm not holding my breath). Unfortunately, they do have a competing interest generating advertising revenue from web-portal usenet sites that serve their own archived content, and which increasingly pop up on google searches.
