Default Memory access violation - help needed

When I boot up, I get an error message as follows:

Memory access violation in module Kernel 32.

This also comes up when I try to run msconfig, which no longer runs.

How can I fix this problem?

Kevin

I suspect you have either virus/trojan/spyware on your system. Run
recently updated antivirus scanner and Lavasoft's Ad-Aware or Spybot
Search & Destroy.
