CPU Frequency???
In my BIOS I have a setting called "CPU Frequency" which can be set from
200Mhz-300Mhz. What does that do? PC: Acer Aspire T160 Processor: AMD Athlon64 3500+ (2.2 GHz) Mainboard: Acer FC51GM BIOS: Phoenix LTD, R02-B1 Chipset: AMD FSB: 2x1005MHz (2010MHz Data Rate Speed) Memory Bus Speed: 2x200MHz (400MHz Data Rate Speed) If you need more info message me. I really would like to know what this does, and can't seem to find any info on it, even through Google. TIA, nascartrekkie3

For example, my 2.0GHz amd 3800+ runs at 200MHz times a multiplier of 10. By changing my CPU frequency (sometimes called Front Side Bus or FSB) to 240, my CPU now runs at 240*10=2.4GHz. There are numerous other settings that must be changed for a good overclock, so read up first. -Dylan C
