As an aside, I see the punter 'Druid' seems to have had a decent resolution
to his problem.
I want you to think on this -

Druid posted here a complaint about ebuyer cos they had sent a used product
to him.
Ebuyer have now sorted out his issue and apologised.
Druid, to his credit, has at least been fair and posted this outcome.

TBF I shall not consider that I have had a decent resolution to the
problem until I have a new working router and my two lots of postage
(total value around £9.00) has been refunded to me.

It is true thought that ebuyer has said that they should have sent a
new one and that if I do another RMA they will do so, IMHO I do not
however really call it good service, good service would have been that
they sent a new router and refunded my postage within one week.

In fairness this is the first problem I have had with Ebuyer but then
it is the first time I have had cause to send an item back.

That does appear to be normally when one's problems begin.

Is it worth such a potential headache to save a couple of pounds?

BTW, please post back the eventual outcome - whenever that is and whatever
it is.
You'd be amazed how many folks come here and moan their faces off but then
*never* post the outcome.

They finally answered my enote, almost exactly one month later. They
apologised and refunded my £5.
