Okay, I have the side cover off and got a big household
fan blowing away right now. I would like to buy a new fan(s) for my PC, I've seen many on various sites but I need input. Matt (email address is a dud, post reply here) |

Okay, I have the side cover off and got a big household
fan blowing away right now. I would like to buy a new fan(s) for my PC, I've seen many on various sites but I need input. That isn't the best solution :-) o Start with the noisiest component first ---- usually the CPU fan o Then move onto the next noisiest ---- usually the PSU Put soundproofing bottom on things to do; much easier to treat the cause than the effect of a noisy PC. o Then if you have a fan-port by the CPU cooler on the case ---- fill it with a fan That will remove hot air from the CPU cooler preventing recirculation, so allowing a lower rpm fan on the CPU cooler for the same temperature. -- Dorothy Bradbury www.stores.ebay.co.uk/panaflofan (Ebay) http://homepage.ntlworld.com/dorothy...ry/panaflo.htm (Direct Prices) |
