Default Presario 5221 memory upgrade question.

My friend needs to upgrade his Presario 5221 memory.
He already has 64MB in his computer.
Is it possible to insert a 128 MB module
without problems or should he use
the remaining slots for 2 x 64MB modules?

Thanks in advance.

The machine will support up to 3 x 128MB. The 64 can be left in the machine
and a 128 added. See:

http://www.crucial.com/store/listpar...1.&submit =Go

The link will wrap, so cut and paste it into your browser. It is the correct
page for the 5221 at crucial.com. They are excellent and guarantee that it
will work.
