TV Tuner, TV audio question
Using MMC 8.5
(1) Audio cut off & back again When you switch channel, the audio is heard for 0.3 second, then it is muted for a second, then audio came back. It is a very annoying "feature" . =20 What is even worst is, you can hear the 0.3 second in stereo, while the final sound sometimes switched to mono. Anyone has the same problem?? (2) Erroneouse switching to mono while stereo avialable My country has Nicam, which has two digital tracks in addition to the analog audio. I don't know if mono means the analog track, or sometimes it means one of the digital track when a bilingual program is broadcasting. Which is confusing. My VCR is very clear on this: =20 (Stereo)-(Left Only)-(Right Only)-(Analog)=20 You cycle on this with a button. My VCR never switch to either Right/Left only even it knows that it is bi-lingual. & the recoring always record the twin digital track. Knowing the problem may arise, ATI TV tuner should always turn on & use digital audio (for both stereo and bi-lingual broadcast) But there don't seems to be an option to fix it, settings don't seem to be stored with the channel. (a simple NO automatic select language for bilingual program is desired) =46or scheduled recording, having the above problem, I worry about it could either record the low quality analog audio or only one of the digital audio, which is all by chance. |
