Default Hummingbird Exceed 3D GLX direct rendering failed with NVidia Geforce4 TI

Hummingbird Exceed 3D GLX direct rendering failed with NVidia Geforce4 TI
series.

I'm asking for your help.
Any one who will gives a little help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using Geforce4 TI 4200 under WinXP env. for developing Hummingbird
Exceed 3D OpenGL apps.
But I only see empty screen displayed if Exceed xconfig GLX direct rendering
option is activated.

With 3.xxx detonator drivers, previous chipset such as geforce 3 or gts
worked nicely when
direct rendering is on. As you all know, direct rendering option gives
siginifcant performance gain.

If hardware acceleration is off with direct rendering option is on, I could
see OpenGL window but it's
very very slow like with an old Geforce MX graphic card.

and especially for my case. without direct rendering option, I cannot work
with 2 or more opengl
apps that I've been developing. There's a crash when resizing window or
animating some
object in window simultaneously.

I think that it's a sort of client to server data transfer problem from
different client at the same time.
Unfortunately I've tried all possible combination of glFinish(), glFlush(),
glXWaitGL(), glXWaitX(), XSync().
but could not solve this problem at all.

First of all, I want to know which graphic card still supports Hummingbird
Exceed direct rendering ?
and does empty window intended by NVidia or Hummingbird ? or a bug ?

and secondly, anyway If direct rendering is disabled forever. How can I fix
this programming bug ?
( my application has no problem if compiled and executed in unix workstation
such as SGI or HP )

thx in advance.
