Keyboard hangs w/ Belkin Omniview & Dell docking station...
I have two computers connected to a Belkin OmniView 4 port KVM switch
box. All mouse & keyboard connections are PS2. The computers are a desktop and a Dell Latitude D600. The cables are being connected to the Dell docking station. My keyboard is a Microsoft Natural keyboard. When I switch between the two systems, I lose the keyboard functionality on the laptop. The Desktop continues to work. To troubleshoot this, I have uninstalled the keyboard driver on the laptop and reinstalled, & rebooted. In Device Manager (under 'Keyboards') it says I have the following keyboard: Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard. The laptop keyboard responds, it's only the keyboard connected to the Belkin switch that does not function. Any comments / solutions welcomed. |
