Default New cd burner producing coasters :-(

I just burned 2 .iso disc images of a movie onto 2 vcd's with Nero to watch
on my Stand Alone dvd player and on both discs , part 1 and part 2 the last
5 mins of each disc is all pixelated and basically unwatchable. I'm not
using the best media in the World- pretty cheapo discs , but I've had no
problems until I burnt these iso files as vcd.
I have burnt pefectly watchable mpeg files as vcds great up till now. And
all data discs and audio cds are perfect . Is it just the .iso way of
burning a VCD that causes the pixelation problem ??

My LG cd burner is only 3 months old - brand new.

any help , or advice is appreciated guys .

Might be the player. I had similar problems [pixelation near end of movie]
with a Panasonic player and found it less frustrating to get a Philips
VP642 that accomodates DivX, etc.

I should have added: my VCDs would play perfectly on the PC. The
pixelation and stalling occurred only on the Panasonic DVD player. In may
case, clearly a player issue.
