Default Best DVD-ROM drive?

I see Plextor is not making DVD-ROM drives. Who makes the highest
quality drives now? Needs to rip well - fast and accurate.

Lite-On have an excellent DVD-ROM, 167T. Very fast and accurate.

I agree! Mine is used for ripping exclusively and does a great job.
Less than $30 delivered from Newegg.

Plextor has a DVD-ROM drive coming out either the end of FEB or MAR...
Can't remember. Perhaps they have it announced on their US site... My
LITE-ON works pretty good though.

PX-130A, but does anyone know who makes it?, is it Plextor made or just
another one by Pioneer?

And does it support DVD+R DL?, the Lite-On 167T does and Nero Infotool tells
you same.
