Default DVD+RWs

Greetings
I notice DVD+RWs are 1.4x or 4x speed.
I have some CD-RWs which are 10x high speed
So is the DVD+RW 1.4x low speed & 4x high speed?

Neither. High Speed on an erasable CD refers to the technology as well
as to the speeds (4x minimum, up to 10x maximum). DVD+RW has one
technology at this point and you may write either at 1.4x or 4x as you
prefer.

With DVD-RW, 2x is referred to as high-speed by the DVD Forum. Wouldn't
be surprised if DVD+RW Alliance calls DVD+RW 4x as high-speed.
