question.....
Hello, All!
After basically replacing the whole of a PC over a few months to fix a problem with writing any media, could a power supply be to blame for disks been written where the end of the data seems to be "fading" and cant be read? i hgave even upgraded to XP, tried a PCI IDE card to no avail system is Duron 1600 256 Mb 40gb and 30 gb hard drives Liteon DVDR 8 Speed rewriter [used to have a 52 speed writer that failed also] as7333 mainboard DVR card USB card the only thing left that i havent tried is a new case/power box some disks are fine, but 50% seem not to write properly, and altho the burn completes, looking at the disk it appears the laser hasnt "hit" the disk as good as other places, i have tried loads of media any advice would be apreciated With best regards, *©*´¯`·.¸¸.·´·DõKtör åvãíäñçhë·`·.¸¸.·´¯`·-·|.
